Earlier this year, Google enabled social media posts to show directly on the Google search results page. This is a great way to inform customers what happens at your business, that includes updates, events, and offers.

How to add your social media links to your Google Business Profile

Google now allows you to add and manage how social media links are displayed to customers on your Google Business Profile. Important: This feature is available for select regions and may not be available for your Business Profile currently. You can add one of each of the following social media links to your Business Profile:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Pinterest
  • TikTok
  • X / Twitter
  • YouTube

To add a social media link:

  • Go to your Business Profile. The best way to find your profile is to sign in to your Google Account and then simply do a Google search for your business name. You should see a similar profile interface as shown to the left.
  • Click Edit profile<./li>
  • Next, click "Contact"

  • Click Social profiles.
  • In the drop down that opens, select the social media link that you would like to add.
  • In the web address field, add the link.
  • Click Save.

You can always come back later to add more social profiles. Use this same process, and click "Add Social Profile."
