How it all began
It was 1994 and I worked night shift as a telephone operator for AT&T located on Reach Road here in Williamsport.
I often found myself with ample downtime between customer calls.
Something more
To combat the boredom, I started reading and discovered an introductory book on Perl programming, which I had to revisit multiple times to fully grasp.
All this reading sparked a broader interest in high-tech and software development, leading me to apply for a position at Adelphia, where I contributed to the rollout of broadband services in 1996.

My passion for technology and software development grew, prompting me to join a small startup in Austin, Texas, called BroadJump, where we created software that automated broadband service installations. BroadJump was later acquired by our competitor, Motive, also based in Austin.

I transitioned from a lead principal engineer to product manager, playing a key role in defining our flagship product, Home Device Manager, which is utilized by major telecommunications companies to manage devices like broadband modems and gateways. Additionally, I contributed to the development of technology for managing mobile devices.
My early work at BroadJump/Motive included designing and coding the backoff algorithm within broadband devices, part of the TR-069 protocol still in use today.
Eventually, I moved into management, overseeing the Mobile Device Management business unit and later serving as VP of Managed Services.
After 24 years in technology, where I consistently engaged in website development as a side project, I decided to take a bold step and pursue website design and development full-time.
This led to the establishment of Williamsport Web.
I returned to the Williamsport area with a commitment to serving the community with integrity and strong work ethics.
One of my aims for Williamsport Web is to create a fund dedicated to supporting local veterans. I want to eventually invest my time and energy into coaching and counseling, especially for those dealing with PTSD and wartime disabilities. I have a deep appreciation for our veterans, and I believe they truly deserve our support.
